Children's Residential Care Worker

We are looking for Children’s Residential Care Workers to join our Children’s Residential Homes specialising in children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

We require individuals with a minimum Diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care working with children and young people in a residential setting (or equivalent).

​

The candidate must have experience working with children and young people within social care or with looked after children. The candidate must have a driving license and be able to provide two work references and character reference and have a clear DBS for working with children.

​

We require enthusiastic individuals that are committed to providing the best possible supportive and nurturing environment for our young people. People that continually look to improve the standards of the Home and their personal development along with those around them.

The Children’s Residential Care Worker will follow the Sunbridge Childcare therapeutic model within the home by engaging in training and offering excellent emotional and physical care, appropriate activities, and help create a comfortable and safe home environment. All services will be planned and provided to the highest of levels to all young people while using a multi-agency approach.

As part of the care team, you will consistently provide a high-quality care experience for children and young people and maintain a high standard of individual practice consistent with National Quality Standards.

You will work in a positive, respectful, and empowering way with all young people to promote good relationships and encourage achievement.
